I have devices/ip addresses in IPAM after we add DNS server information , so IPAM syncronized with DNS and imported from DNS all static and dynamic configured IP and hostnames of devices connected to our network .
1) if ip is static on device and device was online some time was in IPAM view then now that device is offline will it be shown as used or will disappear from IPAm view (IPAM gets all ips/hosts from dns server ) ?
2) when IPAM is scanning , in my case, is it scanning DNS server OR its doing scan devices/IPs iby using ping etc .?
